I guess, a majority of our drugs run in from Kentucky and from Northern Virginia. You can go on a days trip and find a majority of people who bring them in. All you have to do is find a user and you will find supplier.

If you really go to the highest levels you will find those with both power and money and those folks seldom take a fall. Occasionally the feds will get involved and then a truly high level person will take a hit as happened here about a quarter of a century ago, but that's about the only way and it ain't going to happen often.

Look at the list of drugs. Those aren't your everday run of the mill list of drugs. Someone is doing a lot of work to get those kind of drugs.

Lortab, Percocet, Morphine - it's almost effortless to get those drugs. Lortab is given out like it's candy.
Hospitals get drug seekers in the ER in ridiculous numbers -daily. You go in, fake a hard-to-prove pain, and walk out with the dope. A good portion of them are on Medicaid - so they pay nothing for this stuff. They make their rounds to the local ERs - Dr. shopping - Wise county hospitals, Lee County, Dickenson County.
No ER is immune.

You got that right, a little over a year ago, when my wife was pregnant she was at the ER for something and you wouldn't beleive how many fakes were in there and it was obvious..... The same people that were in the waiting room with us, making out in the chairs, went outside to smoke about 100 cigarettes, acting like nothing was wrong, then when they were back in one of the rooms, they were moaning and screaming about how much pain they were in...... It was hilarious.... well really it isn't but the act they would pull to get the drugs..... the funny thing about it was, our nurse came in and she said it was the 3rd time that lady had been there that week and she said they knew exactly what she was there for so they let her sit in the room back there for 8 hours and then sent her home with a false prescription (she said it was in the hard to read doctors writing [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]) and the lady never came back.

There's only three listed as distributing morphine. In all honestly - they probably took it from granny's medicine cabinet (or similar scenario).
And these older people will sometimes sell their pain killers just so they can have money to eat or pay the heating bill with.

None of what I'm seeing tells me this is part of a big drug ring. Any individual can do what these folks have done. It's not like Heroin or Cocaine - there's no master supplier other than the hospitals.
